Volunteer Assignments, Scroll down to find your name
Assignment Descriptions and Report Time:
Registration- You are the central hub of the morning.  You will be tasked with getting everyone (climbers/volunteers/vip's) Checked into the event.  We have a 1 hour window to process 600 people with a 20 minute window to reassign climber tags.  You are asked to be there no later than 6:20 am to orient to the registration area.  The climber packets will be pre-stuffed and labeled. 
Water- You will provide water during the event.  We will have numerous water containers throughout the building and outside.  Several will be tasked with shuttling the containers to be refilled and ensuring the stations have adequate supplies.  You should report by 7:20 am
Boots-  You will be working with kids during the Walk in their Boots station.  Kids, 12 and under will have a chance to be firefighters and drive police cars during the climb (all pretend of course)  You will report by 7:15 am and get briefed at the registration
Airpack- You will be set up to hand out airpacks to those who need them.  Each airpack must be accounted for and a loaner will be released on the collateral of the drivers license of the borrower.  You should arrive no later than 7:15 am to hand out to people, especially the first wave. 
EMS- You will be assigned to either the rehab area or a floor station to provide EMS support during the event.  You should plan to arrive no later than 7:30 am for briefing unless otherwise instructed
Float-  You will provide a vital role in replacing people that do not show or as tasks arise that need to be handled.  You should arrive by 7:30 am at the latest
Staging- You will be guiding climbers and other volunteers in the correct doors and provide support to those who are 'on deck'  you will also be used to shuttle equipment that climbers shed during the event if they so choose.  You will also be tasked with hanging sponsorship signs in designated areas along with other signage as needed.  You should arrive no later than 7:30 am
Merchandise- You will be responsible for selling climb apparel and other items during the event.  The climb store will be open during the registration process and then will close at 8:20am.  After the opening ceremonies, you will be tasked with moving to the outside of the building and re-establishing the store.  You are asked to report no later than 6:45 am.  The store will be set up Friday so it will be ready to open first thing.
Pick up- You will be tasked with making sure the facility remains free of debris during the event and ensuring the building is left in a better state of cleanliness than when we arrived (at least the parts we are using).  You should arrive by 7:20 am so you can see where supplies will be.
Memorial- You will be assigned various tasks that revolve around the front stage area of the event.  items such as clearing paths for climbers, ensuring climbers are guided to the right areas, assist with the group photo and varous other tasks as they arise.  You should report by 7:15am
Security- You will be working with other uniform staff to help provide a safe environment for climbers and spectators to watch as the climb occurs.  You are asked to be there by 6:45 am so you can assist the Registration people.
Packet Stuff/Bash- You will be receiving another general email indicating start times.  We ask anyone that can assist with those items to help.  Packet stuffing will be Wednesday Night before the climb at around 7 PM at the state office building.  For those working the bash, Please be at Sickenberger no later than 4:30pm that night so we can set up and get things going.
