2022 Volunteers
Here are the volunteer assignments for the 2022 climb. If you need to change assignments, please let us know prior to the climb so we can shuffle people around.
Assignment, Report time, tasks:
Water Station - 7am - Check in, get water stations set up, ensure they stay stocked and give each other breaks
Registration - 6:30 am - Collect Waivers, check in climbers and volunteers, give out climb packets/vol shirts.
820 am, close doors and come out front for opening ceremony at 8:30 am. After first wave
goes in the building, pack up check in and disassemble left over packets.
Volunteer Registration -6:15am- Collect Waivers, check in climbers and volunteers, give out climb packets/vol shirts.

EMT - 7:00 am - Check in, have EMS briefing, assist with moving items and hanging sponsor signs, after climb start EMS
Store - 6:30 am - Check in, set up and help with the store. At end of the climb, pack up the store for transport to the Bash
Security - 6:00 am - Check in, monitor the crowd, assist directing people to the building, keep track of number of the people in the building
Set Up - 7:00 am - Check in, assist with setting up the stage, banners, moving water/food items.
SCBA - 7:00 am - Check in, staff the SCBA area for lending out airpacks, secure ID from them and give back when SCBA returned
Runner - 6:30am - Check in, you will be assigned tasks AS NEEDED. It may vary and depends on what needs arise during the event.
Logistics - 6:30 am - Set up items for the food, water, rehab area. Assist with setting up operations
Color Guard - 7:30 am - Check in, provide color guard duties for the opening ceremony and taps for the various times.
Memorial - 7:00 am - Check in, assist with setting up the stage and memorial items. Keep people on time and provide access through crowd for opening ceremony
Bagpipe - 7:30 am - Check in, play bagpipes
As with any event, you maybe asked to change tasks either last minute or throughout the event. If you are asked to do something you are not comfortable doing, please let us know.
