Annual Charles 'Bud' Koss memorial Cornhole Tournament

Bud Koss unexpectedly passed away on July 7, 2020 while serving as our Operations Director for the CNY Memorial Stair Climb.  Bud was instrumental in laying the ground work for the successful and growing event we see today.  His passion for the fire service was only rivaled by the people in his day to day life, especially his kids.  Serving in the role of operations director, Bud maintained the equipment cache of the event including the memorial items, podium, kids event supplies and equipment and whatever other tasks we put on his shoulders.  He did so with no argument or pushback.  Traveling around the country, you could tell that his love of the brotherhood in the fire service was also found in the various Association of Memorial Stair Climb Events that he attended.  We plan to hold this tournament every year will use this to help keep his memory alive.  Even though he left a huge hole in the lives of those who knew him best, this will help ensure he will still be bringing people together to share in that comradery that he so enjoyed.
