VOLUNTEERS
Who can volunteer?
Anyone can volunteer. There are many roles that will need to be filled throughout the day. Such areas as registration, staging, equipment relays, the brotherhood bash and many more. If you are able to volunteer, we will be happy to have you join the team. You can register to volunteer by clicking the volunteer button above. In addition, certain volunteers will be asked to help out the week leading up to the climb to prepare for the event along with help following the event to pick up after the event. Some volunteers, mostly those selected as team or group leaders, may be asked to attend some pre-event training to get them ready for their role the day of the event.
How can I volunteer?
There are many opportunities to volunteer at the climb. We have a spot for everyone. From water stations, EMS, Security, Merchandise, Supply runners, registration, Bash helpers, etc. During your registration as a volunteer, you will have an opportunity to pick out the areas you would be willing to assist in. We will assign people to tasks the week before the event and post them along with the climber wave. If you have questions about specific assignments, please email the Event director to get more information.
Do I have to attend volunteer training?
It has been determined that some volunteer assignments require training beforehand to ensure the climb is successful. Depending upon what you would like to do the day of the event, you may be required to attend training.
I have a group of individuals who wish to volunteer, do you accept groups?
Groups of volunteers are accepted on a case by case basis. Contact the Event Director to find out more.
